SEA BREEZE
A beautiful seafront new build property completed for a client in 2021.
the brief
Our client instructed us to build a new property on the Witterings seafront back in 2021. The brief was to deliver a modern property which had a nod to its coastal location.
As part of the project Grey Tree also renovated and converted an old railway carriage which was salvaged from the demolition of the old property.
The project also included the landscaping of the front and rear garden to make the most of the beachfront location.
This project was made yet more complex due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
the build
Throughout the construction of Sea Breeze, we offered a wealth of advice regarding the best materials to use, given the likely exposure to the elements as a beachfront property.
There were large amounts of bespoke carpentry involved in both the interior and exterior, giving a truly unique finish to the beautiful property.
We worked closely with the clients, offering advice about the build throughout to ensure they were delighted with the end result.
the result
We employed Greytree, to build our new house in East Wittering and we are both extremely pleased with the end result.
We found Cal and all of his team very easy to work with as everyone helped us to make difficult decisions throughout the build, which meant that the end result is everything we thought it would be.
Cal gave us a realistic price in the beginning, which we were happy with but as the build progressed we decided to upgrade a couple of things, Cal always ensured we knew fully any increases in cost and gave us some really good advice.
The house was built in a good time scale particularly as it was held up by covid and there were a few issues that were out of his control.
