Meet the Team

  • Cal Leach

    MANAGING DIRECTOR

    Cal started his construction career as a carpenter and 15 years later as Managing Director, still thrives on tackling challenging projects.

    As well as excelling ‘on the tools’ Cal possesses very strong experience in design, achieving planning sign-off, identifying suitable sites, land purchase and more.

    Combining his highly creative approach with incredible attention to detail, Cal can overcome challenges quickly and efficiently, keeping projects on track.

    When he’s not ‘on site’, you’ll find Cal catching the waves at the nearby beach.

  • Edward Cobden

    DIRECTOR

    Edward started his career in the construction industry as a joiner. Now, some 20 years later, he is a Director of Grey Tree Construction and responsible for some of the most luxurious property development projects across the south coast.

    As a Black CSCS card holder, Edward demonstrates the highest level of practical experience in the industry.

    If he’s not at work, Ed will likely be walking his dog with friends and family.

  • Leila Leach

    CLIENT SERVICES DIRECTOR

    Leila is the heartbeat of the Grey Tree Construction operation.

    Ensuring clients are delighted every step of the way is her number one focus and Leila will often be the initial point of contact before, during and after the project.

    Outside of work Leila enjoys focusing on her health and wellness.

  • Kyle Belcher

    SITE MANAGER

    Kyle is SMSTS qualified and has over 15 years experience as a carpenter across various projects.

    As a Gold CSCS card holder and an Emergency First Aider, Kyle is a valued Site Manager at Grey Tree Construction.

    When he is not on site Kyle is a dedicated health and fitness advocate and loves spending time in the gym.

  • Stephen Bill

    SITE MANAGER

    Stephen has been in the building industry for 20+ years and has a wealth of experience over various sectors including, new builds, disability adaptations, and high end refurbishment projects. 

    He holds a City and Guilds level 3 carpentry qualification along with SMSTS, Gold CSCS card and Emergency First Aid.

    Stephen is a strong family man with a very positive can do attitude which is vital in the building industry, as Stephen says “Never a problem, only a solution!”

    In his spare time Stephen enjoys being at the beach with family and friends and keeping fit.

  • Samantha Cobden

    OFFICE MANAGER

    Samantha has been a personal assistant for over 20 years at corporate companies such at Lloyds, Zurich and Strief. Utilising skills learnt in these positions Samantha has moved in to office management roles and is a key member at Grey Tree Construction. A busy building company needs a solid core and Samantha is certainly it.

    Outside of work she enjoys baking, walking her dog, crochet and being with family and friends.
